1The Challenge
What was the challenge?
Following a previous team-building workshop, Taj SATS sought a highly interactive and engaging workshop focused on culture and leadership. The main objective was to help employees recognize the significance of a strong company culture and their role in driving it in real-world situations. The organizing team desired activities and experiential learning to engage the leadership team in reflecting on driving the work culture forward. The workshop aimed to foster collaboration, trust, ownership, and alignment with organizational goals, while establishing practices for a high-performance culture.
2Our Solution
What solution did we design?
To address these objectives, we proposed conducting a 1.5-day session called ""Everyday Leadership,"" centered around the five principles of leadership. The workshop incorporated experiential activities and carefully designed classroom training to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
3How We Did It
How was the programme delivered?
The ""Everyday Leadership"" workshop focused on the five principles: Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart. On Day 1, the participants engaged in two activities: Everest Challenge and Lego City Mania, each aligned with four of the leadership principles. After each activity, a classroom training session followed, addressing the objectives and incorporating case studies from Taj SATS to enhance participants' interpersonal skills. On the next day, the workshop continued with Team Olympics, followed by a feedback workshop using the Start | Stop | Continue engagement tool. The feedback received would serve as a reference for future planning and improvement.
4Key Outcomes
What were the results?
The workshop successfully met the participants' expectations, fostering better relationships among colleagues and establishing the culture of Taj SATS in a comprehensive and experiential manner. The interactive activities and classroom training sessions allowed participants to grasp the principles of leadership and reflect on their application in the workplace. The workshop also facilitated a feedback session, ensuring participants' voices were heard and providing valuable insights for future growth and development. Overall, the workshop contributed to building a strong organizational culture and instilling leadership practices aligned with the company's goals."
