Bigger Picture thinking using technology

1The Challenge

What was the challenge?

NPCI organized an annual offsite for their team in Lonavala, aiming to break the monotony and have fun while ensuring participants took away something meaningful from the session. They wanted to align individual journeys with the organization's bigger goal, emphasizing technology as the carrier of the message.

2Our Solution

What solution did we design?

We devised the Enchanted Treasure Hunt, an augmented reality-based activity. Participants embarked on a gamified treasure hunt within the property, solving puzzles and collecting jigsaw puzzle pieces along the way. Joining these pieces together at the end revealed the final picture.

3How We Did It

How was the programme delivered?

Participants kicked off with energizing ice-breakers and formed smaller teams. Using the Thought Bulb Gaming app, they scanned objects in the hotel augmented with cryptic clues. Teams collaborated, leveraging their individual strengths, to progress through the activity. As they neared the correct answer, they received random jigsaw pieces, creating confusion. Eventually, they realized that by joining forces and fitting the pieces together, the Big Picture—the workshop's objective—was revealed.

4Key Outcomes

What were the results?

During the debrief, we highlighted how each team's victory in the initial task contributed to the final picture. This mirrored how their individual journeys aligned with the overarching goal from the very beginning.
