What was the challenge?

A team of senior leaders participated in an experiential intervention aimed at driving key business outcomes. The focus was on promoting big picture thinking in the business context. Thought Bulb, an innovative team, utilized the Domino Challenge and other experiential tools to facilitate discussions around collaborative thinking.

The team from Thought Bulb employed the Domino Challenge as an engaging tool to foster collaborative thinking among the senior leaders. This activity required teamwork, strategic planning, and effective communication to create a successful domino chain reaction.

3How We Did It

How was the programme delivered?

The senior leaders were divided into teams and tasked with setting up a domino chain reaction. They had to carefully align the dominoes, working together to ensure a seamless flow. This activity encouraged them to think beyond their individual roles and focus on the larger picture of achieving the desired outcome.

What were the results?

Following the Domino Challenge, the participants engaged in discussions facilitated by the Thought Bulb team. They reflected on the experience, sharing insights and strategies for promoting collaborative thinking within their organizations. The debrief session highlighted the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and the impact of collaborative efforts on driving key business outcomes."

The team completed the programme with an overall satisfaction score of 9.8/10. Facilitation quality was independently rated 10.0/10. Airbus reported a visible and sustained improvement in cross-team communication in the weeks following the programme — and subsequently engaged The Thought Bulb for a follow-up session.
