1The Challenge

What was the challenge?

a leading consumer goods brand brought together 19 participants in India with a clear mandate: strengthen collaboration across a high-performing, fast-moving consumer goods team. Despite being talented individually, the group needed a shared experience that would build genuine trust, dissolve hierarchy, and create the behavioural alignment that drives real business results. The Thought Bulb was briefed to design a programme that was purposeful, energising, and precisely tailored to this team's specific dynamics — nothing generic, nothing off-the-shelf.

2Our Solution

What solution did we design?

Team Thought Bulb discerned that the Nuclear Punch activity and the Build a Bicycle activity, would be the perfect fit that could fortify the teams to think out of the box and challenge conventional processes in the organization.

3How We Did It

How was the programme delivered?

Two teams competed against one another in a confined space, to punch all the numbers in a sequence. In multiple rounds, the teams were hoodwinked, by altering the number sequence. Certain individuals in the teams noticed the change and subsequently transposed their approach! Nuclear Punch is an activity designed to help teams widen their horizons, while adapting to issues and tackling them correctly. Building a Bicycle required the teams to put together all the parts of a bicycle. This activity puts teams into unprecedented situations in order to collaborate with each other and put their problem-solving skills to good use. A wonderful CSR activity, the teams witnessed a happy surprise, when they saw the impact they created on the lives of non-privileged kids when the same cycles were gifted to them in the end. The session ended on a high note where the participants enjoyed their photo-frames and blooper video as a surprise!

4Key Outcomes

What were the results?

The programme delivered clear, measurable results across every stated objective. 19 participants completed the session with an overall satisfaction score of 9.6/10, with facilitation quality independently rated 9.7/10. Post-programme feedback highlighted three consistent themes: stronger interpersonal trust across hierarchies, improved comfort with open communication, and a renewed sense of shared team identity. a leading consumer goods brand reported that the programme created a visible and sustained shift in how teams collaborated on live projects in the weeks that followed. The experience has since been referenced internally as a benchmark for team culture investment — and a leading consumer goods brand returned to The Thought Bulb for a follow-up engagement within six months.
