2Our Solution

What solution did we design?

The team-building organization pitched the idea of the ""Build a Bicycle"" challenge to the HR team of Infosys Asia Pacific. The proposal highlighted the benefits of experiential learning and emphasized the importance of teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The challenge aimed to align these skills with tangible business results, creating a win-win situation for the team and the organization.

3How We Did It

How was the programme delivered?

a) Introduction and Objective: The program began with an introduction to the challenge and its objectives. The participants were informed about the significance of teamwork, innovation, and creating a positive impact on the business through their actions. b) Teams Formation: The HR team members were divided into smaller teams, fostering collaboration and healthy competition among them. Each team was assigned the task of building a bicycle from scratch, with limited resources and a specific time frame. c) Resource Management and Planning: Teams were required to strategize and plan their approach to building the bicycles within the given constraints. This involved effective resource management, budgeting, and problem-solving to ensure the successful completion of the task. d) Building and Testing: The teams worked together to assemble the bicycles, focusing on quality, safety, and attention to detail. Once the bicycles were built, they underwent rigorous testing to ensure they met the required standards. e) Presentation and Evaluation: Each team presented their completed bicycles to a panel of judges, highlighting the features, functionalities, and the positive impact they believed their creation would have on the end users. The judges evaluated the presentations based on predetermined criteria, such as innovation, teamwork, and alignment with business goals.
