Jaipur City Race with FLP India in Jaipur

270 FLP India distributors — experienced participants who had done city races before and specifically asked for one — got a full-day parallel programme in the Pink City: 240 on the Jaipur City Race and 30 on a Radiant Mosaic and AR Treasure Hunt at The Leela Palace, simultaneously.

1The Challenge

What was the challenge?

FLP India's distributor community had one ask when they rolled out nominations for their offsite activities: they wanted the Jaipur City Race. These were experienced participants who had done city races before and loved them — people who came in with informed expectations and a clear preference for activities that felt genuinely fresh.

With 270 participants and two distinct activity preferences, the design challenge was logistical and experiential at once: how do you run a city-wide race for 240 people and a hotel-based creative programme for 30 others, simultaneously, with the same energy and the same premium quality across both tracks? The brief was explicit — keep the flow new, keep the energisers different, and don't give them anything they've seen before.

2Our Solution

What solution did we design?

The Thought Bulb ran two parallel programmes from 9 AM to 2 PM, anchored at Kukus — Leela Palace, Jaipur.

  • Track 1 — Jaipur City Race (240 participants): Twenty-four teams boarded buses from the Leela Palace, each carrying its own cluster of teams and a dedicated TTB associate. The race took them through 3-4 landmark challenge spots across the city, with location-specific challenges before the race back. The bus journey itself was part of the competition — the cluster format kept energy alive from the moment participants stepped on board.
  • Track 2 — Radiant Mosaic & AR Treasure Hunt (30 participants): On the hotel lawn and buffet area, a separate group took on Radiant Mosaic and an Augmented Reality Treasure Hunt — two activities that gave the hotel track its own distinct character, entirely separate from the banquet hall being held for the evening gala.

Both tracks converged for a group photo at the start and a video summary screening toward the end — the one moment in the day where all 270 participants were in the same frame.

3How We Did It

How was the programme delivered?

The operation required genuine scale: one lead facilitator for the city race, one lead facilitator for the hotel programme, two TTB team members, and 5-7 local associates — with each bus carrying a dedicated associate to manage the cluster and keep the competitive energy alive between challenge stops.

The city race moved through 3-4 Jaipur landmarks, with challenges designed specifically for each location — drawing on the city's architecture, culture, and character to create moments that couldn't happen anywhere else. Teams navigated Jaipur under time pressure, solving challenges and earning points at each stop before the race back to the Leela. Back at the hotel, the Radiant Mosaic and AR Treasure Hunt gave the 30-participant hotel track a programme that was equally engaging — creative, tech-powered, and well-paced across the same window. The banquet hall was kept free for the evening gala, requiring careful coordination that ensured the day's energy carried seamlessly into the night.

4Key Outcomes

What were the results?

For a group of experienced distributors who had done city races before and actively chose to do one again, the Jaipur City Race delivered everything it needed to — fresh energisers, new challenges, and a race format that used Jaipur's streets and landmarks as an active ingredient rather than a backdrop.

  • 270 participants. 2 simultaneous tracks. 24 teams across Jaipur.
  • Personalised at scale: Not a single one of the 270 participants was in the wrong activity. Everyone got what they had signed up for, at the same time, with the same level of craft and energy.
  • One shared story: The group photo and closing video summary bookended a day where two separate experiences ran in parallel — and everyone left feeling like they had been part of the same journey.
