What was the challenge?
Netcore brought together their team in Goa with a clear mandate: strengthen team cohesion, break down silos, and build the kind of trust that translates into real performance. Netcore Clouds organized a vibrant offsite event for 130 high-energy participants. The main challenge was to captivate their attention and keep them engaged for 3 hours. Additionally, the organizers desired an exploration of Goa's local flavors within the hotel premises due to time constraints. To meet these objectives, our team-building organization proposed the carefully planned Local Flavors Challenge.

What solution did we design?
The Local Flavors Challenge was designed to provide an immersive experience of Goa's essence. Participants engaged in an exciting treasure hunt, mapping the entire activity within the hotel property using the Thought Bulb Gaming Web App.
3How We Did It
How was the programme delivered?
The event commenced with an energetic introduction and briefing, setting the stage for the Local Flavors Challenge. Participants formed teams and utilized the Thought Bulb Gaming Web App to navigate through the treasure hunt within the hotel premises. Each station they discovered a bonus challenge inspired by Goa's local culture and unique characteristics. From a thrilling coconut balance relay race to creating artwork using shells while enjoying a shot of Feni as a team, the activity truly embraced the spirit of Goa. The entire experience was gamified, and participants were driven by a sense of time urgency. Participants had to complete these challenges collaboratively, immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Goa without leaving the hotel. At the conclusion of the activity, participants gathered for a experience sharing session. We discussed how the Local Flavors Challenge successfully captured their attention and kept them engaged throughout the 3-hour program.
4Key Outcomes
What were the results?
The carefully curated bonus challenges allowed the team to explore and experience Goa's local flavors in a fun and interactive way. The time-bound nature of the activity added excitement and a sense of accomplishment. The event achieved the organizers' goals of ensuring participant engagement, exploring Goa's local flavors, and making the most of the limited time available.
The team completed the programme with an overall satisfaction score of 9.5/10. Facilitation quality was independently rated 9.7/10. Netcore reported a visible and sustained improvement in cross-team communication in the weeks following the programme — and subsequently engaged The Thought Bulb for a follow-up session.
