1The Challenge

What was the challenge?

85 participants from Andritz came together for a day-long experiential learning intervention designed to spark creativity, build empathy, and strengthen collaboration. The program blended interactive challenges with structured debriefs, focusing on creative problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and conflict management.

2Our Solution

What solution did we design?

The intervention was designed to achieve progressive outcomes, with each activity mapped to a specific learning framework. Airport Makeover: Participants applied the Design Thinking framework to reimagine the airport experience, moving from empathy and ideation to prototyping. This exercise helped participants practice user-centric problem-solving and structured creativity. Comic Strip: Teams expressed workplace challenges and solutions through storytelling and illustrations. Supported by Emotional Intelligence Mapping and Empathy Mapping, this activity encouraged participants to reflect on emotions, value diverse perspectives, and strengthen interpersonal understanding. Bridge The Gap: A collaborative construction task where teams built and connected bridge segments, symbolizing alignment and unity. The activity was debriefed using the Collaboration Circle framework, highlighting strategies for conflict resolution, dialogue, and trust-building.

3How We Did It

How was the programme delivered?

Participants were divided into smaller groups and immersed in experiential challenges designed to strengthen innovation, empathy, and collaboration. Design Thinking guided Airport Makeover, sharpening creative problem-solving skills. Emotional Intelligence and Empathy Mapping enriched Comic Strip, enabling teams to connect on a deeper human level. The Collaboration Circle framework anchored Bridge The Gap, giving participants practical tools to manage conflicts and collaborate effectively.

4Key Outcomes

What were the results?
